Girl Dies By Suicide After Rape,17 years Old Accused Detained; UP police

Police have kept a 17-year-old kid regarding the supposed assault and self destruction of a minor in Saifni police headquarters region in Uttar Pradesh's Rampur, an authority said today.


As per the police grumbling stopped by the casualty's sibling, the kid is a neighbor and he had visited their home a couple of days prior, during which he supposedly assaulted the 15-year-old young lady.


On finding out about the occurrence, the young lady's family members requested that the kid wed their little girl, yet his folks dismissed the proposition saying that he was a minor, Additional Superintendent of Police Sansar Singh said.


The casualty's family members affirmed that she passed on by self destruction in light of the fact that the kid would not wed her.


In light of the protest of her sibling, a case was enrolled and the kid was captured, police said.


In the mean time, the casualty's sibling, who functions as a worker, told PTI, "upon the arrival of the occurrence, the individuals from the blamed's family had moved toward us and compelled us against getting a police objection enrolled. During the gathering, other local area individuals were additionally present. We requested that the two of them would get hitched after they achieve adulthood." "They (the charged side) were not prepared for the settlement. Rampur Superintendent of Police Ashok Kumar Shukla visited the place of the casualty on Saturday evening and met her relatives.


"The complainant, who is the sibling of the person in question, had informed me that he was being undermined by the relatives of the blamed. I have taught the Circle Officer and other police authorities to make a move against the other blamed, who have compromised the complainant," the SP said.


He added that the region judge will be educated about the matter and endeavors will be made to give pay to the casualty's loved ones.
